Karianna Jensen

 

Originally from California, Kari received her training at the Marin Ballet, San Francisco Ballet and Royal Winnipeg Ballet Schools. She stopped dancing in the early '90's due to an injury, and returned in October of 2001. In May of 2002, she was awarded the silver medal in the senior division of the Northwestern MusicFest ballet competition. In 2003, Kari became a principal dancer with Ballet Spokane. She performed leading roles in full-length ballet such as Cinderella, Dracula, and Coppelia and originated roles in many contemporary pieces. Her choreography has received critical acclaim, and has been added to the repertoire of Ballet Spokane. In 2005, Kari joined Continental Ballet Company, as a dancer and teacher.
