Tuition Rates Per Student

Students who want to pay for classes individually may purchase a punch card.  Individual classes are priced at $15 per class.

Family Discount – 10% discount for two or more students in the same household

Ballet Level Descriptions

Pre-Ballet:  Creative movement and exploratory ballet for preschool aged children.   This class will focus on listening, rhythm, coordination and beginning ballet movements.

Level 1:  First year of hour-long ballet class.  This class begins the discipline of barre exercise and proper classical technique.

Level 2:  Students must have completed Ballet I.  Begin working positions encroix at the barre.  Begin working with one hand at the barre instead of two.  Start to learn French terminology and begin more advanced center work, including jumps.

Level 3:  Students will begin working on positions of ecarte, efface and croise.  Exercises will strengthen turn out and balance.  New skills like pirouettes and petite allegros will be mastered.  Students will remain at this level for several years.

Level 4: At this level students will work on turns, adagios and grand allegros.  They will begin pointe exercises at the barre.  Students at this level must take two Ballet 4 classes per week.  Students remain at this level for several years as they gain strength and skills.

Level 5:   Girls at this level will work on pointe both at the barre and in center.  All students at this level will work on increasingly difficult center work and precise classical technique.   Students should be taking a minimum of three classes per week.

Level 6:  Students are moved into this level at the invitation of the Director.

Dance for Theatre:   A fun, high energy class focusing on dance technique for stage and theater.  Students will learn at least one routine from a popular Broadway musical.

Adult Ballet: This Class will be tailored to the students attending but is generally an introductory level ballet class.
